Resist the mundane - release the joy.

I adore antique and vintage pieces and I suspect, as you're here, that you do too. I can't resist pieces with real oomph - with rizz, in fact. Colour, pattern, scale, form - more is more, and if it's outsized, gorgeously decorated, voluptuously shaped or simply classically perfect, I want it. I want to hold it and feel it, I want to gaze at it, I want to absorb it with my senses. Antique ceramics may seem a cold place to start for such a tactile person, but hold a piece in your hands for a few moments and it will literally warm to you. Then turn it to the light and let it wink at you.

My favourite ceramic finds are usually a bit knocked about. Their chips and dings say "I'm a survivor". Each of our fabulous pieces has already lived an eventful life, and they all have a story to tell. Maybe you can write the next chapter.
