An antique caviar pot sold by Cadbury Pratt & Co of New Bond Street, London. Cadbury Pratt & Co were the official suppliers of butter and cheese to the Royal Family for several decades. This pot would have had a sealed top to contain its 'Fresh Astrachan Cavaire'. The top of the pot has been historically painted black, very unusual and striking, and makes the fantastic typography really pop.
Made of hefty stoneware, 10cm tall and 8cm wide. A perfect pen pot.
