This astonishing midcentury Italian ceramic wall mount, in the shape of an elephant's head with tusks and trunk, is 36cm tall and 27cm at its widest point. The top is flat and could be used as a small shelf for books, a rechargable lamp or a striking plant.
The piece weighs 2.3kg and must be attached to a strong wall with 2 drilled-in fixings (no command hooks here please).
There are a couple of small faults in the glaze (see closeup picture) which in our opinion in no way alter the dramatic effect of the piece. A very unusual sculptural addition to your wall or an interesting piece for a large console table.
