This curvy beauty has the wow factor in spades. She's huge! Measuring 33cm handle to handle and 28 cm high including the lid, this tureen was made between 1860-1880s in Wales by F Primavesi & Sons. There's no maker's mark, so we've identified it through the stunning chinoiserie floral handpainted pattern. There are beautiful gold highlights on the ornate twisted handles and lid.
A very impressive centrepiece for your table, a stunning display piece, useful as a potpourri bowl or for stashing sweet treats.
Condition: there is light crazing to the glaze commensurate with age. The tureen would originally have had a matching ladle and stand, hence the gap in the lid. No chips or cracks.
