A large Japanese imari pattern chamber pot, perfect as a planter for succulents or bulbs.
Mason's ironstone, produced specifically for Heal and Sons (now known as Heal's), sold at their flagship store in London W1 in the mid 1800s. A fabulous shape, with a snake handle, and gorgeous handpainted Japanese floral decoration. The handle is showing some wear to the glaze and overall, the piece is in used antique condition.
