This very pretty antique raised dish, comport or tazza is beautifully hand painted with the Amherst Japan pattern. Made by Minton in the 19th century, for displaying fruit. We love to use it for grapes, alongside cheeseboards, to bring height and drama to the table.
35cm long and 14cm tall. There is one very small chip to the white outer rim of the dish.
