A beautifully decorated set of 6 Stoke Pottery plates in the pattern 'Melrose', from the early 1900s, in deepest blue, gold and burnt orange. Ravishing.
Each plate measures 26.5cm across and has a handpainted and gilded deep rim, making the set suitable for pasta and hearty winter warmers as well as more carefully arranged dishes.
6 plates, in good vintage condition, with some variable wear to the gilding.
